French Trash is the Best Trash

On a day like today.. or the other day, when we were in France, there comes a time when you are done eating, and you NEED a trash receptacle. But in little old townships where the place is meant to look quaint, a receptacle can be super hard to find.

Day 3, 4, and 5

There was snow. So much snow. We had snow shoes on... but they only made things more tired. Things like my legs. And my heart.
I wanted to die. At times, I am sure I did.
But we found sanctuary at the St. Bernard Monastery.
And it was there that I began to heal....

Day 6 (in no particular order)

Split down the middle by cleavage only Switzerland can offer, the city of Sion, Martigny sits mostly upon two competing hillsides.
Winding alleys and rolling streets of cobblestone and brick guide you from the train station through the cleavage up to the ruins of the ancient Tourbillon Castle, the Valere Basilica, and Sacrifice Rock.

The view from any one of these landmarks is far beyond breathtaking. Thousands of photographs were taken that day by our group alone.

We toured the Basilica, where the oldest working organ known to man resides, and received a private concert on said organ.

Toward the end of the private concert, we (Lindsay, Pam, and myself) started getting antsy. We had LOTS of footage to gather, and lots of pictures to take and Pretzels AND Nutella in my backpack that hadn't gotten nearly enough attention that day.
So we began our journey to Sacrifice Rock.

With the wind whipping our hair around our heads, blood red pools of water to greet us cheerfully, and plenty of time to sit and ponder about life- We had it all. And when you have it all, you MUST make movies.

In the city of Sion on top of Sacrafice Rock. The video speaks for itself ;)

Adventures with the Switzer Struts

Hey!

So, the three of us thought it would be fun to document our activities here in Switzerland. We are here filming a documentary for Utah State University's Design Thinking Study Abroad Trip. We want to record and document the fun things we do on the side! :D
